What Happened Was This: « Unemployed Rabbit: the New Deal experience
brokers” such as A4e (as highlighted in Series 2 of a Channel 4 documentary lol) can lie to jobseekers forcing them to sign up to temporary work via zero-hour contracts while telling them it is a fulltime job (with the excuse of saying they never said it was permanent… well, you can have a permanent job of 1 hour a week, it means its on going doesn’t specify the hours) threatening them with being exited and therefore benefit sanctions.

Possibly the more people who get diagnosed as having health/mental issues mean they can tick boxes and say that it wasn’t their fault that they couldn’t get them a job at the end of it.

Day Eleven: Escape! Escape! « Unemployed Rabbit: the New Deal experience
being sent to the dreaded A4E. I’m trying not to think about that.
Regardless, although there may be less regular updates, this blog will remain active until this little rabbit escapes the Evil Clutches of the Dole and the New Deal system altogether (and please, Heaven, let that be sooner rather than later).
