I don’t just get my JSA- instead the gov’t pay the company and they pay me. At the moment I get my JSA plus money for travel and lunch expenses. After the three week bit, too, there is a training allowance available to enable me to be given any extra training and courses if relevant (in my particular case, I doubt this will be so because I pretty much have all the relevant skills for the field, just not the experience)
