you will be forced to claim JSA but to me, this is all part of thier plan. How are we supposed to live if we have no money? By claiming JSA are we deemed to be admitting we are actually fit for work and are therefor making illegal fraudulant claims, which have been uncovered by ATOS’ dilligent doctors? One wonders?
I have a plan of action and am sticking to it rigidly, I am not prepared to say what my plans are yet, but they will be revealed as my case progresses. It is a good idea

unemployed, with 81,000 JSA claims, overall unemployment rate 8.8%.Then we have the UK national figures, which show2,491,000 unemployed (up 30,000 on last month, again),1,626,200 claiming JSA (down 13,300 on last month, surprisingly), all chasing432,000 "whole economy" vacancies (up 4,000 on last month), of which only196,000 are JCP advertised, over 30 hours per week (static)- the ones we are mainly interested in. BUT CAN WE TRUST THESE FIGURES? Two issues straight away. Firstly, the
also eventually join them. JSA brings a lower income – down to the standard rate of £64.30 a week, in contrast to £89.80, the starting point of incapacity allowance – and, after six months, puts claimants on the Flexible New Deal. This, being tried out in large parts of the country, will eventually replace all existing welfare-to-work schemes. For a year the jobless will be farmed out to private companies, intensively advised and obliged to carry out a minimum of four

and made a fresh claim for JSA, however this was a rapid reclaim as I was previously claiming JSA for 18 Months and had just signed up for the New Deal prior to me going abroad.
When I Attended my local Job Centre for my new claim interview I was told I would need to sign on in 2 weeks time; However, I was told I would need to sign on & have an interview/appointment with my previous New Deal Advisor, I was told I would not be able to find out until then whether I would be back on the

Feedback has it that Jobcentre Plus is trying to push as many people through on to New Deal courses as possible regardless of the actual legal implications of them being unable to put through a lot of them – they are still hoping to catch people out who are unaware of the rules and are happy to participate in order to

required by the claimant of JSA, therefore there will seem to be alot of redundancies made by the bidding providers. Hence, more unemployed professional people on JSA? It all doesnt make sense, I would strongly urge the Labour/conservative party to spend their money wisely rather than playing 'ball' games. Conservatives oppose to this FND idea, Labour are in favour. Unemaployed people will go and vote for conservatives, people in employment for labour.. its all a complete mess!

I’m not dead – Honest :)
Just a very, very quick update – Unfortunately I haven’t really felt “in the mood” for any real updates – I’m not sure if I mentioned it, but I badly damaged my ankle a few weeks ago, and it’s “knocked me about” more than I thought

I didn't say a conspiracy. I am saying that they always word things wrong. For example, whats the difference between a temporary job and a pemanent job where an employer gets rid of someone within in the probationary period (which makes it temporary) and claims the credit crunch is to blame? If the job is advertised as permanent then it "intends" to be permanent even
increase in people claiming JSA are Swindon, Grimsby and Hull. Those with the highest youth unemployment are Birmingham, Grimsby and Hull. Those with the lowest percentage of high skills are Grimsby, Ipswich and Hull. (Poor old Hull and Grimsby, where unemployment has continued to rise.) The report sees the solution in a changed organisation of local government to attract business, and in funding FE colleges to provide skills training. This in part echoes the government's own recent

dont give up jobsearch though but at least you can choose what jobs you want to apply for not what your nda considers you should apply for (amazingly though every job the jc “selected” for me with benefit sanction threat thrown in for good measure backfired on the jc as i didnt get any of these jobs mainly because i ensured i didnt get considered(unbeknown to the jobcentre) and also because the jobs they
I don’t just get my JSA- instead the gov’t pay the company and they pay me. At the moment I get my JSA plus money for travel and lunch expenses. After the three week bit, too, there is a training allowance available to enable me to be given any extra training and courses if relevant (in my particular case, I doubt this will be so because I pretty much have all the relevant skills for the field, just not the experience)
