I really don't understand why ex-offenders are on FND anyway. Whilst I don't know his circumstances, I would want to know if the person sat next to me on a FND course is an ex-offender.In any case I thought ex-offenders had NACRO, or whatever it is called to help them reintergrate into society and help them with housing and employment. If I end up on FND I will certainly ask the
it's an even better fit with FND, if the deal with Tomlinson is anything to go by. The article doesn't say whether the new staff are coming from the FND client list, but it would make sense.

October 2010.
The initial FND design is being modified on the fly by the Labour government's introduction of new, large-scale initiatives, which will essentially remove all people under 25 from FND delivery and place them into schemes that look like a mix of New Deal options and the subsidised 'jobs' of the 80s employment programmes
The Conservatives do not appear to be in favour of many of the government's changes to FND, including the introduction of new contract types. Until they have
various flaws with FND, and suggests solutions to each of them:
National performance targets don’t help providers to build realistic performance estimates
Solution: DWP publishes a finer-grained analysis of outcome expectations, and interview contractors to establish how they have set their own performance figures as part of contract award.
Comment: This seems to be suggesting that DWP performance requirements are unrealistic, and will result in undeliverable contracts. It's

through a constant round of FND/crap agency job/FND/crap agency job/FND ad nauseum, even without the constant risk of sanctions, where it is detrimental to the already slim chance of securing permanent employment with a genuine employer? I think not.But it gets even worse than that... let me tell you about Working Links' complaints procedure. Except - I can't tell you about it, as they won't tell ME about it! Should Ex-Offenders be sent to “regular” FND Providers, and, perhaps
interview got started, my FND Advisor (I’m sorry, I don’t believe in the concept of a Career Coach, so I’m not going to refer to the member of A4E that I’ll be working with, as such, and instead sticking with FND Advisor) told me a little bit about what the whole FND Programme is all about. And it’s at this point, where I’m slightly unsure as to the process. I’ll bullit point some of the main points, then expand upon them in greater detail.

Jobcentre Plus and The Pension Service and the Disability and Carers Service are all
part of the Department for Work and Pensions. Each part delivers services to

Starting the Journey
Since FND launched in October 2009 we have had lots of people ask what is different about FND?
Specifically, how is A4e approaching the challenge of delivering a truly personalised service to the 450,000 people we are expected to work with in the next 7 years?
In response, we have put together these short films which give an overview of FND, how we have set up the service with our partners and how we are rising to the challenge of delivering the most innovative

Nice to hear from you – you must be on the ‘ball’.
I don’t understand this ‘multi-layered’ job centre – why can’t a job centre do whatever new deal is doing? It looks suspeciously as

Locally we have two FND providers... TNG who subcontract to YMCA Training. There is also A4e who doesn't even have a local office who subcontracts out to Reed in Partnership (or RIP for short).YMCA Training is always secretive to how they do their "training". On New Deal we used to be stuck on a minibus. When asked where we were going they always answered with "you will find out when we get there" followed by "get on the minibus or you will be

Since Monday, in half the country there will be no new referrals to New Deal. This could be due to implementing the Flexible New Deal or due to revelations of New Deal fraud we recently reported, as the Flexible New Deal (if contracts are signed on time) are not due to begin until October allowing a 13 week programme to commence this week.

me to believe that when my FND begins in the new year, I’m going to make sure the job centre understands *clearly* that TNG is about as much use as a chocolate radiator.
Plus having a few disabilities puts me at a disadvantage – but I can walk, so thats ok… I guess.. may use the mental health stance if the congenital spinal deformity angle doesn’t work. I refuse point blank to be entertained by TNG as long as I’ve got breath in my lungs! If I could get me
My only issue now is that my FND starts in January and I swear, if the three letters of ‘TNG’ are brought up by my advisor, I’ll plead insanity and ask the doc for some medication and a sick note for one whole year.
I’d rather put my hands in a blender than go through TNG again.
