That is the general public’s growing opinion on their hard earned cash as taxpayers’ going to fund people who aren’t entitled to the Benefit (where as the majority of Jobseekers and the majority of the 5.5 million of those claiming disability Benefits are genuine).

New Deal - Flexible New Deal
are claiming unemployment benefit. Some say that New Deal was designed with this in mind, to allow the Government to release lower figures for unemployment. However the NDYP has led to a considerable decrease in JSA claims for 18-24 year olds.
Statistics of NDYP states that almost 1 in 3 people on NDYP leave benefits without securing a job or receiving education or training. 42.89% went in to employment (no mention of sustainability), 25.84% stayed on benefits and 31.27% never reclaimed
Jobcentre Plus - Flexible New Deal
Service merged with the Benefits Agency.
Jobcentre Plus provides resources to enable unemployed people to find work via the Government's Directgov website (they closed the Jobcentre Plus search on 30/03/2010) and the Jobpoints , and also a system for employers to advertise job vacancies called Labour Market System (or LMS for short).
They also offer a service called Jobseeker Direct for the unemployed where they can find out job vacancies (for example if they don’t have internet

If you do find work after being on any kind of training course thru the jobcenetre, remember you still qualify for the Job Grant and associated ‘benefits’ (see direct.gov for details) These should be paid automatically but won’t be, and unless you get onto them you will miss out
